Speak up. see something. say something

The Kansas School Safety Hotline, 1 (877) 626-8203, can be used to anonymously report any potential school violence. The Kansas School Safety Hotline is there for you 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. A Kansas Highway Patrol dispatcher takes your call and notifies the appropriate stakeholders.

Derby Public Schools also utilizes a program, See Something Say Something, to keep our schools safe and provide everyone the ability to submit anonymous tips through additional methods. Students, staff and parents can send anonymous tips through a secure website, app or phone number. The funding for this service is provided by Crime Stoppers of Wichita and Sedgwick County, a division of The Wichita Metro Crime Commission.

See Something, Say Something allows anyone to share information anonymously. The service offers submission of tips through a secure website, a smartphone app, and by phone. All messages are encrypted and routed through secure servers to protect the sender. The user is given an alias and a unique ID before the message is sent to the See Something Say Something Coordinator. This allows the user and the coordinator to have a two-way dialogue without revealing the sender’s identity.

Three Ways to Submit an Anonymous Tip Through See Something, Say Something
1. Visit the Wichita/Sedgwick County Crime Stoppers to submit a tip and be taken directly to a secure tip reporting website.
2. Download the P3 Tips app from the App Store of Google Play and follow the on-screen prompts.
3. Call (316) 267-2111.
